The holidays can be such a hectic time but the beauty is that it doesn’t have to be. I believe that the trick is to start early.

What better way to kick off your holiday prep work but with this beautiful easy crochet Christmas stocking pattern.

Let’s face it, your holiday decorations are just not complete without Christmas stockings. Second only to the Christmas tree (in my humble opinion), are Christmas stockings. Whether you just hang them for show, or you stuff them with goodies for the fam, this pattern is just what you are looking for.

Now, I know that many families have probably had their stockings for years. Perhaps they are meaningful heirlooms. But I want you to take a good look at your current Christmas stocking situation. (go ahead, I’ll wait…) Wouldn’t you say it’s time for an upgrade? Not just any upgrade though, one that you can make!

I put this pattern together with the beginner crocheter in mind. All you need to know is the Half-Double Crochet Stitch, slip stitch, and how to chain. That’s it!

This pattern does work in the round, so I would recommend that you do use a stitch marker to mark where your first stitch is on every round if you are new to this type of crocheting.  I also use a very chunky yarn for this pattern to make the project work up quickly.

Should you want to use the same yarn that I used, I have the affiliate link to Amazon for you. As you can see, I included the red, green, and white for the cuff (but you can make the cuff any color you’d like).

Below is the video tutorial of how to make this easy crochet Christmas stocking. Everything you need to know is included in this video. However, should you have any additional questions, comments, or concerns please feel free to reach out to me. I would be more than delighted to assist you.
